White Water Rafting

Along the way, you'll see cliffs, great waterfalls, and lush tropical vegetation. This 10 mile tour is perfect for lovers of rafting and nature. You must be at least 14 years old to participate in this tour.

Canopy Tours


Sky Tram
ARENAL SKY TRAM & CANOPY ZIP LINES - This exciting half day tour begins at the base of a mountain near Lake Arenal. The tour begins with a gondola ride to the top of the mountain where you'll find the first platform mounted in trees in the nearby rainforest.

From the top, you'll zip from platform to platform on a total of 7 different cable lines, some up to 600 feet long! The tour includes transportation, guides, and entrance fees.


ARENAL HANGING BRIDGES - This tour is a more tranquil take on the traditional canopy tour where you'll walk on trails and bridges that bring you close to the birds, flowers, and lush vegetation of the rainforest of Costa Rica.

The bridges are located within the corridor followed by birds migrating between North and South America, offering visitors a unique birdwatching adventure. The hanging bridges are sturdy and easy to walk on. The 3 hour tour includes a guide and transportation.

COSTA RICA CANOPY ARENAL - You'll begin this tour on horseback with a 40-minute ride to your destination. The journey then continues with a short walk through the forest with a guide who will point out local flora and fauna.

Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge
CAÑO NEGRO WILDLIFE REFUGE - The full day tour along the Rio Frio begins at the small town of Los Chiles near the Nicaraguan border. While on the river, you'll search for sloths, caimans, lizards, tropical birds, monkeys, and more in the surrounding rainforest and wetlands.

This is an amazing learning experience as your guide teaches you about the abundant wildlife, vegetation, ecology and culture of the region. A typical Costa Rican hot lunch is included as well as transportation, entrance fees, and a tour guide.

CERRO CHATO HIKING TOUR - This unique hiking experience is recommended only for expert fitness levels. You'll hike through lush rain forests and pasture lands, and be amazed by spectacular views.

The tour begins at Old Observatory Lodge after passing by the Arenal National Park, Volcano, and Lake. Relax at the top of the hill before continuing down the opposite side. Your reward at the bottom is a swim in the magnificent and powerful Fortuna Waterfall.

The day includes approximately four hours of steep trail hiking, two hours of swimming and 45 minutes of transportation time. The tour also includes a guide, waterfall entrance fees, and lunch.

CELESTE RIVER HIKING TOUR - This tour begins with a typical Costa Rican breakfast en route to the trailhead in Tenorio Volcano National Park. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a 4 hour hike through the tropical rainforest. You'll arrive at "Los Teñíderos" of the Rio Celeste, the site where two streams of water come together to form a unique blue color that gives the river its name.

The tour then heads to the "ollas" - openings in the earth where you can extract healing mud and take a dip in the natural hot springs. On your descent, you'll pass the Rio Celeste waterfall.
