All Standard Rooms and Junior Suites have a private bath, hot water and a television and telephone. Additionally, the Junior Suites feature a small refrigerator, table, king and queen-size beds, and a comfortable sofa.

Fonda Vela offers several great hiking trails on property that are also great for birdwatching. The resort is also within walking distance of the Mondeverde Cloud Forest Reserve, the Hummingbird Gallery, and the Children's Rainforest.
