Lapa Rios

Located in Costa Rica's last remaining lowland tropical rainforest, Lapa Rios overlooks the pristine point where the Golfo Dulce meets the Pacific Ocean, providing guests with an amazing setting and unparalleled views.

Built in harmony with the surrounding environment, the lodge and bungalows stretch across three ridges connected by steps and paths. The lodge houses the restaurant and bar and is built from local materials, including a palm-thatched roof.

The intimate Lapa Rios features just 16 spacious bungalows with screened walls and warm wooden floors. Mosquito nets cascade over bamboo queen-sized beds giving the rooms an incredibly romantic feel.

The bungalows also feature classic bamboo furniture, a private wooden deck, and private dual showers - one with a cascading cool water chute like showering in a waterfall, and the other a traditional hot and warm water shower.

This area offers several activities from peaceful yoga lessons to invigorating soccer matches with the locals. Your stay at Lapa Rios includes a guided tour into the Lapa Rios Nature Reserve and tours of Corcovado National Park are available as well.
