Hotel Grano de Oro is a quaint sanctuary located in the heart of San José. This beautiful hotel is just off of Paseo Colón, offering guests access to all that the bustling city has to offer. As a converted Tropical Victorian mansion, the hotel maintains the feel and charm of a private home.

The hotel features gorgeous fountains and lush tropical plantings, and a rooftop deck provides a secluded spot for sunbathing or relaxing in a bubbling hot tub.

Hotel Grano de Oro features Standard, Superior, and Deluxe rooms as well as three signature suites. All rooms feature private baths and are uniquely furnished in Tropical Victorian styles with art and furnishings that are handcrafted by Costa Rican artists.

Standard and Superior rooms include queen beds, and Deluxe rooms offer a choice of either one queen and one twin bed, two queen beds, or a king-size bed. The Family Suite can comfortably accommodate a family of 5 while the Garden and Vista de Oro Suites include king-size beds.

As the largest city in Costa Rica, San José boasts plenty of activities to keep visitors busy. From museums and botanical gardens to theaters and cafes featuring Costa Rican coffee, you'll find plenty to see and do. Of course, you may also choose to spend the day relaxing on Grano de Oro's comfortable rooftop terrace.
